The ALA Oklahoma City Chapter was established as a nonprofit corporation in 1975.  Our membership is comprised of legal management professionals including private law firms and corporate legal departments.  We offer quality education at our monthly luncheons and telephone seminars.  Being a member provides you with an opportunity to network with professional colleagues who care about increasing their knowledge and success.  Come share the experience of ALA!!!

Please plan on joining us on October 16, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Petroleum Club.  Tracy Clark, CLM, MBA will be talking to us regarding how the Association is changing, why, and who we as chapters and individuals can embrace the change for a positive outcome.  This will be a very informative luncheon regarding where, how and when these changes will affect us and what we can expect.

To give you some idea of what will be discussed:

The Board of Directors for the Association of Lead Paint Abatement Company (ALPACA) has determined that there is a need to change the name of the organization;

  • Questions and/or answers about why this is being done;
  • Questions and/or answers about who will be impacted and when; and
  • Questions and/or answers about where we are going as an Association.

 If you are only able to attend one session this year, this one should be your choice.  At this luncheon, it will give you a chance to voice your opinion and ask Tracy any questions you may have.

 Tracy is a Region 4 Representative for ALA and the Office Administrator for Bowman and Brooke LLP in Dallas, Texas.  She has been in the legal industry since 1998 and a member of ALA International and the Dallas Chapter since 2005. After 13 years in legal, she earned her CLM in 2011.

 This should be a very informative luncheon.  Please let Danita Jones know if you are bringing additional members of your staff.  Members, bring your check payable to the ALA for $22.00.  Guests are free if they are a potential member.

 We look forward to seeing you there!
